Give a brief bio about yourself and/or your studio
HarDarshan Kaur Khalsa. I discovered yoga as a teenager, and practiced several different styles of Hatha Yoga before discovering Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. I’ve been teaching this amazing technology since 1985, and delight in continuing to learn and grow and watch the same process in my students! My studio is in my home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I also travel to local yoga studios to present monthly workshops.

What styles of yoga you teach? / Do you or your studio specialize in one?
Kundalini Yoga & Meditation. We also offer practice sessions in Sat Nam Rasayan which is a beautiful healing technique related to the Kundalini tradition. Group sadhana is on Saturday mornings from 5 – 7:15 am.

What makes your teaching or studio unique?
My home is in a very quiet wooded neighborhood. The vibration helps students to leave behind the stresses of the day.

Do you or your studio provide other services other than yoga?
I am a healer, chaplain, and counselor, and offer modalities of healing such as flower remedies, aromatherapy, creative sand play, sound healing, crystal therapy, and guided meditation.

What is your favorite yoga posture? And why?
My favorite Kundalini yoga set is “Stress Set for Adrenals and Kidneys”. It helps my body stay in balance in the midst of everyday life.

Who is your favorite yoga teacher?
My favorite yoga teacher is my first Kundalini yoga instructor, Guruka Singh Khalsa, now of Espanola, New Mexico. He is a great example of cosmic consciousness!

How long have you been practicing yoga?
over 30 years!

How long has your studio been around?
I have been in my current location for 2 years.
